If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply curious about growth and desire new skills, therapy might be a good fit. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy—many people seek support for personal development, improved relationships, or emotional clarity. For couples, therapy can offer a space to reconnect and work through challenges with guidance and structure.
-
Therapy can support a wide range of concerns, including:
Anxiety, stress, and overwhelm
Grief and loss
Relationship conflict and communication problems
Life transitions or decision-making
Parenting struggles and family dynamics
Trauma and emotional regulation
As a therapist based in the Hudson Valley, I tailor sessions to meet your unique needs, drawing from evidence-based approaches to help you feel more grounded, connected, and resilient.

My approach to therapy is integrative and trauma-informed, meaning I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities to meet your unique needs. Some of the primary approaches I use include:
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – to support emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness skills
Somatic Practices – to gently support nervous system regulation and deepen awareness of how emotions live in the body
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) – especially useful in couples therapy to strengthen emotional bonds and repair ruptures
Internal Family Systems (IFS) – to explore inner parts of the self with curiosity and compassion
Mindfulness-Based Techniques – to build presence, reduce anxiety, and foster self-awareness
Narrative Therapy – helping you explore and reframe the stories that shape your identity
Attachment-Based Therapy – to support relational healing and secure connection
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – to increase awareness of how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact
As a therapist in the Hudson Valley, I believe that healing is not one-size-fits-all. We'll collaborate to find the approaches that resonate most with you—offering both structure and spaciousness for your therapeutic process.

-
Your first therapy session is an opportunity to share the reasons you're seeking help, your goals for therapy, and any past experiences that may be relevant. Together, we'll explore your concerns, identify key areas for growth, and develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique needs. This session will also help establish a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship, ensuring a strong foundation for our work together.

The Mother loss Grief Group for women is an 8-week virtual process group. Together, we make space for our grief, share stories of our Mom’s, share what life has been like since she died; the challenges, the complicated emotions, the milestones she wasn’t there for, all of it!
We also learn new ways to cope, mindfulness skills, and most importantly, we build community with other women who have also experienced this profound life changing event.
If you’re curious to learn more or to join, please email me and I’d be happy to share more.

Most sessions are 50 minutes long and take place weekly. Frequency can vary depending on your needs—we may meet more often during a crisis or less frequently as things stabilize. We'll collaborate to find a rhythm that supports your growth while honoring your schedule and capacity.

At this time, I do not accept insurance for therapy sessions. My focus is on providing personalized, high-quality care tailored to your unique needs. While insurance can make mental health services more affordable, it often limits the level of care and flexibility I can provide. By not working with insurance companies, I can maintain greater control over the therapeutic process and ensure our work is not influenced by third-party policies.
I understand that out-of-pocket costs can be a concern, and I work to keep my rates reasonable. Upon request, I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement through your plan's out-of-network benefits.
If you're unsure whether your insurance plan offers out-of-network benefits, feel free to contact your provider and ask the following questions:
Do I have out of network coverage for outpatient mental health?
If yes, what is my out-of-network deductible?
How much of my deductible has been met this year?
What is my out-of-network coinsurance for outpatient mental health visits?
Do I need a referral from an in-network provider or a primary care physician to see someone out-of-network?
How do I submit claims for out-of-network reimbursement?

Absolutely. My practice is fully LGBTQ+ affirming, neurodiversity-informed, and grounded in a trauma-sensitive approach. I welcome people of all identities and relationship structures and strive to create a space where all parts of you are safe and seen.
