Groups & Workshops
Grief softens when it’s witnessed.
Our grief support groups and therapeutic workshops blend evidence-based practices with compassion and connection.
Together, we create a space to process, reflect, and begin healing in community.

Mother Loss Grief Group for Women
For women navigating life after the loss of a mother. This group explores the many layers of mother loss — the longing, the complexity, and the ways it continues to shape who we become. We’ll share stories, reflect on identity and belonging, and practice ways of staying connected while moving forward. Each group is capped at 4-5 women, meeting virtually for 8 weeks for 1 hour and 15 minutes each session.
Facilitated by me, Steph Bayan, LMFT.
This group has an ongoing waitlist and has limited spots available.
Parent Loss Grief Group
For anyone grieving the loss of one or more parent or parental figure
This space invites open conversation about what remains — the love, the questions, the unfinished edges of loss. Together, we’ll reflect on how grief changes with time, how it shows up in unexpected moments, and how it continues to evolve as we do. Each group is capped at 4-5 participants, meeting virtually for 8 weeks for 1 hour and 15 minutes each session.

Grief can feel isolating — but healing doesn’t have to happen alone.
Group therapy and grief workshops offer a space to share what’s hard to put into words, surrounded by others who understand. Research shows that connecting with others who’ve experienced loss can ease feelings of loneliness, strengthen emotional regulation, and support long-term healing.
These circles are more than just conversations; they’re places of reflection, community, and gentle guidance. Whether through writing, mindfulness, or shared stories, grief groups and workshops help you make meaning after loss — reminding you that healing is possible, especially when witnessed by others walking a similar path.
