ABOUT HUDSON VALLEY HOLISTIC THERAPY
A place to come back to yourself
Life can pull us away from ourselves in ways we don't always recognize. Grief, anxiety, relationships, parenthood, and change can leave us questioning what we feel, what we need, or where we go from here.
At Hudson Valley Holistic Therapy, we believe therapy can be a place to listen more closely—to your emotions, your body, your relationships, and the parts of yourself that may have been asking for your attention.
Our Approach
Hudson Valley Holistic Therapy is a psychotherapy practice in Rhinebeck, NY, offering individual, couples, family, and group therapy in person in the Hudson Valley and virtually throughout New York, New Jersey, and Florida.
We believe therapy is most meaningful when it makes room for the whole person—not only your thoughts, but your emotions, relationships, history, and the ways your experiences are held in the body.
Our work draws from evidence-based approaches while incorporating mindfulness and body-based awareness. Rather than following a single method, we pay attention to what is happening for you and what may be most supportive in that moment.
Sometimes that means understanding the patterns that keep repeating. Sometimes it means learning to stay with an emotion rather than immediately trying to change it. And sometimes it means slowing down enough to notice what your body has been communicating all along.
Depending on what you need, we draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts work, attachment-based therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples, narrative therapy, somatic and polyvagal-informed work, and practical skills from CBT and DBT.

Meet Steph
STEPH BAYAN, LMFT
Founder, Hudson Valley Holistic Therapy
Steph a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and founder of Hudson Valley Holistic Therapy, offering therapy in Rhinebeck and virtually throughout New York and New Jersey. She works with adults, couples, and families navigating grief, anxiety, relationships, identity, and life transitions.
I am genuinely curious about people—how we become who we are, the relationships that shape us, and what can change when we begin understanding ourselves differently. I bring warmth, honesty, and humor into the room, and believe therapy can hold both the hard things and the very human moments in between.
Meet Steevy
STEEVY GRIFFIN, LMFT
Licensed Therapist, Hudson Valley Holistic Therapy
Steevy is a therapist and former corporate tech marketer who works with adults navigating anxiety, relationships, burnout, people-pleasing, identity, and life transitions.
She’s especially drawn to people who understand their patterns but still find themselves stuck in them. Her approach is warm, engaged, and direct, with room for humor and the messiness of being human. Steevy helps clients understand what keeps pulling them into familiar patterns, build greater trust in themselves, and create relationships that feel more secure and authentic.
